How It All Started
Michael Mosseri and Ben Schachter became fast friends as students at the University of Florida. What started as a college friendship grew into a decades-long partnership built on trust, complementary skills, and shared ambition.
Ben built one of the most successful multi-state brokerage firms in the country, while Michael rose to become an architect-level software engineer and later a CEO. When the time came to transform the way brokerages operate, the path forward was clear: they would build it together.

While building his brokerage, Ben struggled to find a solution that met the needs of his brokerage. So, Ben decided to take matters into his own hands. To bring that vision to life, he partnered with his longtime friend from the University of Florida, Mike.
With Ben’s proven experience running a large brokerage and Mike’s deep expertise in software engineering and leadership, they founded TotalBrokerage in 2015. Today, we proudly serve hundreds of brokerages and teams, powering tens of thousands of transactions every year.
